Midland Classic Theatre Company presents two ‘30 minute’ productions of ‘Julius Caesar’ as part of the annual ‘Shakespeare Birthday Bash’ celebration. Actors may audition for one or both shows.

Show #1 - Julius Caesar (Classic) – Directed by Victor Lopez.
A classic presentation using the Folgers 30 min version. All roles available, actors of all ages, gender and all levels of experience encouraged. All material provided.

Show #2 – Julius Caesar (Modern) – Directed by Jonathon Horne
A modern take on the classic tale with a predominately female cast, loosely based in the style of mean girls. All ages, gender and all levels of acting experience encouraged. All material provided.
Audition Requirements:
Actors will be asked to perform a short (one minute) ‘cold read’ of a monologue of the Directors choosing which will be provided to them prior to their audition. This may be a monologue from Julius Caesar or another Shakespeare play.
Actors may also be asked to act out a short scene with another actor.
